SUNGAI SIPUT: A silt trap and retention pond that had failed to work are believed to have been the cause of the mudslide near Templer’s Park in Rawang.
The Friday incident – said to have originated at the Bukit Kancing housing project near the 18th kilometre of the Kuala Lumpur-Rawang road – saw mud, boulders and debris spilling onto the trunk road.
