PUTRAJAYA: A committee has been set up to look into the issue of flight delays and reduced frequency of flights to Sabah and Sarawak following the rationalisation plan between Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia, and to come up with solutions within a week.
The decision came after a high-powered meeting involving Transport Minister Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy, Finance Minister II Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, senior officers from the Prime Minister’s office, as well as officials from MAS, AirAsia, Fly Asian Xpress (FAX) and other stakeholders.
