Panel to seek solutions to flight delays within a week

PUTRAJAYA: A committee has been set up to look into problems of delay of flights and reduction in the frequency of flights to Sabah and Sarawak and come up with solutions within a week. 

The decision to set up the panel was made after Transport Minister Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy, Finance Minister II Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, senior officers from the Prime Minister’s office and officials from MAS, AirAsia and other stakeholders met here Monday.
