KUALA LUMPUR: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) wants more powers to allow it to have a bigger role in discussing matters affecting public funds.
Its chairman Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad said the PAC also wanted witnesses who provided statements or evidence to the committee to be given legal immunity.
