KOTA KINABALU: The Penampang OCPD did not know of the existence of a Samurai sword in connection with the death of fishmonger Anthony Chang on Oct 23 last year until the inquest began on July 31.
Asst Supt Awang Anak Suanda also said he did not know that his staff had kept the sword without the weapon being recorded as evidence.
