Woman jumps to death

KUALA LUMPUR: A 21-year-old woman believed to be suffering from depression jumped to her death from the 10th floor of a condominium unit in Jalan Kuchai Lama here.

The woman identified as Ho Han Ne, 21, from Pekan Nenas, Johor, was found sprawled on the ground next to a swimming pool by a friend at 3.15pm yesterday.

According to police, Ho, who was unemployed, lived with her boyfriend.

She is said to have locked the apartment door and contacted the friend minutes before jumping. She had told the friend she was going to jump. The friend, who advised her not to, rushed to the condo only to find her lying in a pool of blood.
