PUTRAJAYA: Disparaging remarks by the Court of Appeal against Tun Daim Zainuddin in the judgment of the Metramac Corporation Sdn Bhd appeal should be expunged as it attacked the integrity of the former finance minister, the Federal Court heard.
Datuk Cecil Abraham, counsel for Daim, said the Court of Appeal’s remarks had also seriously damaged his client’s reputation as well as distressed and embarrassed him.
