TOUTS are at it again at the KLIA. This time they are dressed in smart suits and operate from the special arrival hall meant for VIP tourists.

With the holiday season for Middle East visitors at its peak, more of these touts, who introduce themselves as “free agents,” are seen loitering around the special arrival hall to fleece tourists who are guarded by auxiliary police personnel upon arrival.

Kosmo! reported that these smartly-dressed touts seemed more interested in Arab tourists and were more active during the arrival of planes from Middle East countries.

The report said that most of the touts were actually freelance agents working for a registered tour agency that had a counter at KLIA.

Harian Metro, meanwhile, reported that young girls, mainly fresh school-leavers and office workers, could be contacted via SMS for sexual services.

According to the report, these young women provide their services after office hours and on weekends.
