Keng Yaik plans to step down as Gerakan president

AYER TAWAR: The country's longest-serving political party chief Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik wants to step down as Gerakan president next year after helming the party for 26 years. 

“Now that Gerakan has chosen a new deputy president who is accepted by the delegates, the time has come for me to think about how to handover the party’s leadership to him,” he said, referring to Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Khoon.
