KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is setting up a RM20mil research centre to lead the way in developing renewable forest products.
Deputy Plantation Industry and Commodities Minister Datuk Anifah Aman said the Forest Plantation Development Centre, the first in Malaysia, would focus on developing and planting rubber and hybrids of the acacia mangium tree covering 375,000ha.
