PETALING JAYA: A soya bean drink producer said he would have to shut down his business soon because of the sugar shortage.
R. Ravi, 40, who supplies soya bean and cincau drinks to some 300 to 400 restaurants in the Klang Valley from his Puchong plant, said his usual production of 2,500 bottles per day had been dropping in the past three months because of the lack of sugar.
