KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's exports rose by a lower-than-expected rate of 6.3 percent in April from a year earlier because of a decline in shipments of electronic goods, crude oil and chemicals, the trade ministry said Friday.
Exports stood at 46.3 billion ringgit (US$12.9 billion, euro10.8 billion) in April, down 9.7 percent from March, the ministry said in a statement.
