JOHOR BARU: The atmosphere at the Johor Baru Tiong Hua Association crematorium was filled with grief as family members watched the coffin of eight-year-old Lo Ching Poon slowly entering the furnace yesterday.
As crematorium workers started pushing the coffin into the furnace at around 10am, her grandmother, only known as Khor, cried out: “Why must this happen? She was just a harmless innocent kid!”
