KUALA LUMPUR: Prehistoric drawings and inscriptions in more than 15 caves might be defaced due to lack of efforts to protect them, said National Museum archaeologist Sanim Ahmad.
“Prehistoric drawings are always under siege. They could be ruined if areas in the vicinity are trespassed, developed and exploited by quarry activities,” he said after attending the Stone Age Culture Curators Forum at the National Museum here yesterday.
