KUALA LUMPUR: A former Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) enforcement chief filed a special report after he received two calls from a deputy minister who tried to stop a raid on his friend’s pool joint three years ago, the Ampang Sessions Court heard.
The report was also prompted by a third call from an unknown caller threatening the ex-enforcement chief with repercussions as a result of that raid, which had gone ahead despite the deputy minister’s call.
