KUCHING: The tussle for the Ngemah and Belaga seats that heightened when the incumbents were dropped as Barisan Nasional candidates saw the coalition losing a prized seat.
Ngemah incumbent Gabriel Adit Demong, who stood as an independent, defeated newcomer Alexander Vincent of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Barisan's youngest coalition partner and Sarawak National Party's (SNAP) Richard Lias in a three-cornered fight.
