KOTA KINABALU: Air passengers are still trying to bring on board items like air pistols, swords, knives, knuckle-dusters, antique guns, handcuffs, swords disguised as walking sticks and lighters in the shape of pistols and grenades despite them being banned.
Kota Kinabalu International Airport manager Zakaria Daud said that over the past two years, airport security personnel had confiscated many of such items.
