KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri S.Samy Vellu is suing two vernacularTamil newspapers over reportswhich quoted the MIC president assaying that former prime ministerTun Dr Mahathir Mohamad haddone nothing for Malaysian Indians.
“The newspapers, Malaysia Nanbanand Makkal Osai, had purposelydistorted my speech at the JohorMIC state convention on Tuesday tocreate unnecessary friction betweenme and Dr Mahathir,” he told TheStar last night.
