READY TO HELP: Malaysia is prepared to send rescue and relief teams to Indonesia when Mount Merapi erupts, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said. Indonesia did not need assistance at the moment, he said, praising the Indonesians’ precautionary measure of evacuating residents living around the volcano in Yogyakarta. “The Indonesians are very well prepared. They know when the volcano is close to erupting, so they have moved their people to a safer area,” he added.
