THE swearing-in of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president M. Karunanidhi as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for the fifth time on Saturday was front-paged in the Tamil newspapers here.
They featured photographs of Karunanidhi taking the oath of office in front of Governor Surjit Singh Barnala as tens of thousands of supporters cheered him at the packed Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
