KINGSTON (Jamaica): A Malaysian consortium eyeing the US$70mil (RM266mil) Montego Bay bypass project has submitted a fresh proposal to the Jamaican government.
Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said the original proposal by Ranhill Bersekutu Sdn Bhd and the Malaysian Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) to build the 11.9km bypass was not practical.
