KANGAR: The Perlis Anti-Smuggling Unit (UPP) seized 111 fake firearms, including 20 imitation rifles and five pistol-shaped lighters in a raid at a shoe shop in Kodiang, Kedah.
Also seized in the raid were a gas-fired pistol, which looked like the real thing and capable of inflicting injury, several plastic bags filled with imitation bullets weighing 16kg, various types of fireworks and 62 cartons of cigarettes labelled Malaysia Duty Not Paid.
