THE constant change in the closure date of the Air Hitam sanitary landfill was due to delays in the construction of a new solid waste transfer station in Shah Alam.
Housing and Local Government Ministry Parliamentary Secretary Dr S. Subramaniam said the matter was now finalised and construction of the transfer station would begin soon.
