Manufacturing sales value increases 9.3% in Jan

KUALA LUMPUR: Sales value of the manufacturing sector in January this year was up 9.3 percent or RM3.3billion to RM38.6 billion from RM35.3 billion in January of 2005. 

The January 2006 value was 9.4 percent or RM4.0 billion lower compared to the RM42.6 billion in December 2005, the Department of Statistics said Friday.
