KOTA KINABALU: A group of worried villagers in Penampang, near here, has been camping on a piece of vacant land earmarked for the relocation of about 2,000 squatters who have to make way for the Kota Kinabalu international airport expansion project.
Villager Jivin Moosom said some 50 people from Kampung Maang and nearby villages have been taking turns camping out at the 32ha site for the past four nights.
