PETALING JAYA: Nuclear energy, education, the digital divide and relationships – these were just some of the topics raised by students at the English-Speaking Union Malaysia (Esum)-The Star-HSBC Public Speaking Competition 2006 preliminary and semi-final rounds yesterday.
It proved to be a tough fight as participants vied for the two seats to represent Malaysia at the International Public Speaking Competition 2006 in London in May.
