PETALING JAYA: The 65-member team from Malaysia has arrived in the Philippines island of Leyte to help in search and rescue efforts to uncover victims of the massive landslide, which buried an entire village, there.
According to a Foreign Ministry statement, the team comprises doctors and personnel from the SMART team, the Fire and Rescue Department, Kuala Lumpur Hospital and relief workers from the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS).
