PETALING JAYA: Travellers are in for a treat in the next few months with other carriers looking set to react to the Malaysia Airlines Travel Fair beginning Friday.

Other airlines – including low-cost carrier AirAsia – have unveiled their own “special deals”, or will do so over the next few days.

However, they will be hard pressed to match the MAS offer, which is valid till June 30, on five million seats.

These offers are a first for the airline, and among them are:

  • DISCOUNT of up to 70% on European routes and 75% for some Asean destinations;

  • ONE-WAY airfare for passengers to make their return journey from another city;

  • ALLOWING purchase of this special offer in ringgit from an overseas destination; and,

  • TWO types of discounted seats – a cheaper one called L class with restrictions, and a more expensive Q class with less conditions.
