KUALA LUMPUR: The Sarawak Tribune is the oldest newspaper in the state and was started by a group of Teochew businessmen and teachers after World War II in 1945.
Initially, the newspaper, which was rolled out on a RM50,000 budget, was called the Sarawak Times.
