KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has begun restoring forests in key environmental areas such as the Lower Kinabatangan region in the states east coast to benefit wildlife such as the threatened orang utan.
State Forestry Department director Datuk Sam Manan said land reserves along rivers were being replanted with indigenous tree species.
