CRASH REPORT NOT READY The Department of Civil Aviation has yet to complete its probe into the Hornbill Skyway helicopter crash that killed all four onboard in Asajaya, Sarawak, last September. The probe, said the chief investigator, was taking a long time because it was comprehensive.  

BUTCHER JAILED A butcher was sentenced to two years’ jail and ordered to receive two strokes of the rotan by a Klang magistrate’s court yesterday for armed robbery. Kong Kok Lun, 33, pleaded guilty to robbing engineer Lin Kok Hock in Taman Klang Utama, Klang, on Oct 27 while armed with a machete.
