KUALA LUMPUR: The water in the country’s four most polluted rivers is unsafe for drinking and irrigation.
According to the Department of Environment’s 2004 Malaysian Environment Quality Report, the four rivers were Menggaris in Sabah, Jelutong in Penang, and Buluh and Tukang Batu in Johor.
