BENTONG: Ow Yong Chooi Keng, the late mother of MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy, was laid to rest after more than 2,000 people paid their last respects to her at her home here yesterday.
At 8.30am, family members gathered at the house in Kampung Chamang near here for a private wake before the memorial service began an hour later.
