LANGKAWI: Malaysia wants to be the springboard for international maritime and aerospace companies to market their products in the region, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.
Lauding his predecessor Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for having the foresight to initiate the biennial Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (Lima) Exhibition 14 years ago, Abdullah said it allowed global suppliers to interact with consumers in the region.
