PENGKALAN PASIR: The victory of Barisan Nasional candidate Hanafi Mamat here is a signal from the Kelantan people that they want a change in the state, said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
“I am glad the people here had made the right choice by choosing the Barisan,” he said at the vote counting centre at SM Sultan Ibrahim 1 yesterday.
“I will leave it to the PAS government whether to dissolve the state assembly.
“We will accept any decision by the PAS government, which now has a one-seat majority.
“But it is clear now that the people in the state are ready for change,” he added.
