JOHOR BARU: Last month, the Johor Zoo celebrated the birth of three African lions and two black panthers but is in mourning this month following the death of the two panther cubs.
Zoo director Zakaria Razali said it was a sad moment when the female cubs, the fourth litter born to Terapai Putih and his mate Mawai, fell sick and died three weeks after their birth on Oct 22.
