Check info in your MyKad

PUTRAJAYA: MyKad applicants should check their religion as stated in their identity card with the National Registration Department (NRD) counter staff, Deputy Home Affairs Minister Datuk Tan Chai Ho said. 

This was because the information on one's religion was often lifted from their birth certificates, details of which were available online to the counter staff, he said.
