PUTRAJAYA: Smugglers are bringing in firecrackers as early as six months before festivities to avoid detection.
Customs Department director-general Datuk Abdul Rahman Abdul Hamid said the firecrackers smuggled in were getting more dangerous and posed a greater risk of causing hurt or fire.
