KUALA LUMPUR: Parti Keadilan Rakyat vice president Mohamed Azmin Ali was threatened and forced by police to make a confession while he was under remand, his counsel submitted in a High Court.

C.V. Prabhakaran, counsel for Azmin, who is appealing against a perjury conviction and sentence four years ago, said the evidence was given by a magistrate who had taken records during Azmin's remand proceedings and had been produced as a prosecution witness.
