Radio and TV transmissions to go digital

THE Government plans to digitalise Malaysia's radio and television broadcasts to take advantage of third generation (3G) services, Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Seri Lim Keng Yaik said. 

He said there were also plans to develop the Information Communications Technology industry in the country six-fold by 2010.
