MIRI: Sarawak authorities are getting very jittery over the frequent movement of fighting cocks and exotic birds between Kalimantan and border villages following the rise in bird flu cases in Indonesia.
There was the danger of bird flu spreading from the Indonesian province into Sarawak if these fighting cocks and exotic birds carried the deadly virus, said Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr George Chan Hong Nam.
