KUALA LUMPUR: The PAS Kelantan government has set three conditions for Mawi’s performance in Kota Baru this Friday which has divided the party’s leaders.
The Akademi Fantasia sensation, whose full name is Asmawi Ani, must read the azan (a Muslim call to prayer), adhere to a script given by the state and ensure that his performance at the concert to mark Kota Baru’s Islamic city status on Saturday was in accordance with Islamic teachings.
