KOTA KINABALU: A Malaysian trawler owner whose boat has been detained by the Philippine authorities has denied trespassing into their waters, and is appealing for help from the Malaysian authorities.
David Chia, who owns one of the three trawlers detained by the Philippine navy between Sept 3 and 6, claimed that the vessels were fishing within Malaysian waters.
