Former lawyer charged with CBT

KUALA LUMPUR: A former lawyer was charged with committing two counts of criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving two cheques worth RM480,000 in connection with a land deal.  

Kow Chee Kang, 49, was said to have been entrusted with a Maybank cheque worth RM468,000 by his client Phoenix Magic Sdn Bhd and another RHB cheque worth RM12,000 by a doctor, Datuk Johari Muhamad Yusop, 46.
