MALACCA: A 57-year-old former police lance corporal who was sacked from the force in 1996 after failing to explain his ownership of a Mercedes Benz car won his case in the High Court yesterday.
Justice Datuk Abu Samah Nordin ruled that Mukri Kardi’s dismissal was not valid because the then deputy state police chief SAC (II) Ahmad Lihat failed to comply with regulations governing disciplinary proceedings.
