Chariot parade in Ipoh Sunday

IPOH: For the first time in 60 years, the Sri Sangoo Natha Maha Kaliamman temple in Jalan Lang (Rifle Range) here will hold a chariot procession starting at 6pm today in conjunction with its annual festival. 

The chariot bearing the deity of the goddess Sri Sangoo Natha Maha Kaliamman will be carried through Jalan Tun Abdul Razak (Maxwell Road) to Cherry Park, Lim Garden and Merdeka Garden and later to Taman Idris and Taman Sin Lok through Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (Jalan Kuala Kangsar).
