THE Chinese community will burn RM3mil worth of prayer items during the current month-long Phor Thor (Hungry Ghosts) festival, reported Sin Chew Daily.
Malaysia Prayer Paraphernalia Association chairman Lim Fu Kwang, however, said that less money was being spent on prayer items this year, a reduction of 5% compared to last year.
