EPF may be paid from subsidy to FAs

JOHOR BARU: State football associations (FAs) which fail to settle their EPF dues will have the amount deducted from their annual financial grants. 

“We will not hesitate to deduct (what is due to the Employees Provident Fund) from the FAs’ annual subsidy given to them by FAM. We are serious about this as it involves the players and staff savings – not forgetting the state’s pride,” said Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) secretary-general Datuk Seri Prof Dr Ibrahim Saad.
