PETALING JAYA: Fires are raging across more than 350ha of forests and farmlands in Pahang, Selangor and Perak, with 75% in a Pahang forest.
Fire and Rescue Department assistant director-general (operations) Zulkarnain Mohd Kassim said 260ha of the Merchong Forest near Muadzam Shah were ablaze and 73 firemen had been deployed to fight the fire.
