KUALA TERENGGANU: The country is expected to earn a whopping RM8.5bil from the ongoing Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival 2005 owing to increased spending by locals and foreign tourists.
Deputy Tourism Minister Datuk Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said RM7bil was expected to come from foreign tourists and RM1.5bil from Malaysians.
